You are good at
your job. Now
let's get your CV
to say so.

Right now that work gets lost on your CV, on LinkedIn and in the first ten minutes of an interview. I will help you show it.

NOTICED

You have done the work. Your CV is hiding it.

You apply for roles you could do, and nothing comes back. It is rarely you. Usually your CV talks about the role and leaves you out.

01

Your CV reads like a job description

Your title already tells a recruiter the duties. What they look for is what changed because you were the one doing the job.

02

Your LinkedIn stops at your job title

A recruiter opens your profile and sees a title and a company. With nothing else to go on, they move to the next name.

03

You know your answers run on too long

Tell me about yourself turns into four minutes of background, and the part that would win them over comes too late to count.

04

You dread the why did you leave question

You had a good reason to leave. Said out loud it sounds defensive, so the interviewer fills in the gap with their own version.

Bring me the version you are using right now.

We read the CV you are sending out, line by line. I show you the duties that should be results and the lines a hiring manager will skip, and we fix what is hurting you most first.

NIA / IN SESSION

Hi, I am Nia. I read CVs the way recruiters do.

I started coaching after years on the hiring side of the table, reading CVs from people I knew were better than they looked on paper.

Most people who come to me are good at their jobs and find it hard to write about them. You are too close to your own work to see what you left out.

Your draft can be as messy as you like. We go through it together, I explain what is weak and why, and we rewrite the parts that are costing you interviews. Your CV will still sound like you.

They were good at their jobs too. This is what they said afterwards.

I was changing direction and could not explain the move without sounding defensive. We fixed how I tell it.

I had the experience. I just was not explaining it. She cut the vague bits and showed me what I had been handling.

My CV listed tasks and said nothing about what I was responsible for. I left with better examples and a proper structure.

The biggest change was learning to answer a question without giving five minutes of background first.

I finally understood why my LinkedIn read as flat. The rewrite made my next step much easier to explain.

Direct and practical. I left knowing exactly which sections to change and why they were costing me.

How we get your next application ready.

You do not need a polished draft. Whatever you have so far is fine.

01

You send it to me

Add your LinkedIn link and the job you want next. Half finished is fine.

02

I show you what is holding it back

Usually two or three lines are doing most of the damage. I point them out and explain what each of them is costing you.

03

We rewrite it together

You leave with the edits and the reasoning behind each, so you can keep doing it yourself long after the session.

The questions I get asked most.

Answered here so you can decide without a call.

Send a short note about what you are trying to do next and I will point you at the right one.

No. I am not going to invent experience you do not have, and I will not write a claim you cannot back up when they ask about it in the room.

Yes. Plenty of people book a session for a job they have set their heart on.

Yes. We go through the questions you are likely to get and rework the answers that are not helping you.

Yes, all of them. Book from wherever you are.

No, and I would be careful with anyone who says they can. What I can do is make sure you are not getting rejected for something fixable.

Your CV, your LinkedIn, and the jobs you have been going for. If you have got rejection emails, bring those too.

You can find the theory online in an afternoon. What you cannot find online is someone reading your actual CV, hearing your actual answer to why you left, and telling you which line is costing you the interview. That is the work I do, and it is the only part I charge for.

HELLO

So, which job are you going after next?

Send me the CV you have been using and a line about the role you want. If you already know where it goes wrong, say so. If not, that is what I am here for.
